Had to add this picture to my blog. Yep this is my love. His name is Mike and we have really been hitting it off ever since we got together. I have to give a shout out to my friend Barb. She comes here to read my blog but is too scared to write any comments. Yeah, Yeah I'm domesticated now. I even have my own litter box. Thanks for all the laughs at the bar the other night Barb. Maybe one of these days you will comment instead of just reading.

Cheeba Went To The Vet

Well Cheeba went back to the vet today. Her fever has broken and she is doing a little better. It is a Huge relief to know that she is not in pain. As for the brain damage we do not know if it is reversible yet or not only time and TLC will tell. Mostly the damage so far has affected her back legs but she is still able to walk just a little slower and a bit wobbly. The main thing we were worried about was whether she was in pain or not and she isn't. She has even been able to give us that smile and a few growls here and there at the other two dogs. Thanks for the support.

Kind of Bummed

Kind of a bummy weekend. My boyfriend's dog (Cheeba) had a stroke at the end of last week so he has been tending to her and I really didn't feel much like blogging. She is doing o.k. but we are still waiting to see if she is going to have permanent brain damage. We have our fingers crossed and can only hope for the best. We are both glad that we still have her. I will try and enter more tomorrow. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

The Buzz Is MTV Turns 25!

Happy Birthday MTV! Oh, those were the days. I remember it like it was only yesterday. Having p.j. parties, dancing around in your bedroom with all your friends jammin' to the 80's hits watching the videos. It was one thing to be madly in love with your favorite singer back then, but when it came to being able to watch them perform on television that one song that made life have some kind of meaning it was unbelieveable.

I have to say long live the king of music television. You made our world so much easier to bare at times. I loved the fact that back then being grounded to your room meant all the more loud MTV videos that drove the parents nuts and ended up having them call our generation SATAN worshipers. That was the best. Oh and don't forget Beavis and Butthead! I miss the "fire" that now is back, but then was thought to produce pyro-maniacs and was thrown out of the series.

Long live music, dance, soul, love, memories and might have beens!
